Dinner at Our House is a meal program created for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House who have a child with conditions requiring them to be hospitalized. Out of town families live at the house allowing them to be close to their hospitalized child and to have the conveniences of a home away from home at a nominal fee. No Family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. The Southwestern Ontario Ronald McDonald House in London opened its doors in 1985 with 17 bedrooms hosting multiple kitchens, free laundry facilities and playrooms.
When approached with the opportunity to create a new kitchen for the house, Steve immediately rose to the challenge. The new kitchen is equipped with duplicate appliances and stations to accommodate multiple chefs. With three islands and four sinks there is plenty of working space for all. Chesapeake Classic White cabinets keep the space clean and bright while countertop and backsplash accents in rich blue tones create a more playful atmosphere to soothe and energize guests. The result, a home away from home for those needing it the most.
